University of Waikato climbs QS university rankings into top 300

The University of Waikato has continued to climb the QS World University rankings. Vice-chancellor Professor Neil Quigley says it’s proof hard work gets recognised.

The University of Waikato has climbed into the top 300 universities in the latest QS World University Rankings released on Thursday.

Now ranked at 292 out of more than 26,000 universities, Waikato University has risen more than 100 places in the past four years.

The latest round of annual rankings released by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings show Waikato University has jumped 32 places from 324 in 2016.
