Three comunity organisations take a piece of a $1 million grant

Affordable lunches, a riparian planting and youth on the street have all benefited from a million fund set up to promote community organisations.

Three Waikato groups have gained a share of Momentum Waikato’s inaugural $1 million grant to “transform communities”.

Zeal Hamilton’s ‘Street Youth Work’ programme, South Waikato’s ‘Ka Pai Kai Healthy School Lunches’ and Sustainable Coastlines and Puniu River Care’s ‘Nga Kaitiaki o Te Awa o Puniu’ all take a chunk of the fund.
