Waikato’s first Christmas Day baby: A wonderful gift

As the clock was about to strike 1, and Santa hurled his sack down a chimney, a special present was being delivered at Waikato Hospital.

The first baby born on Christmas Day in the Waikato was Jordan Kiran Josef. He was born at 12.55am on Sunday, weighing 8lb 7oz.

His parents Stephy Kiran​ and Kiran Pappachan​ said their baby boy was a “wonderful gift”.
