Hepatitis Foundation appoints new CEO

The Board of The Hepatitis Foundation of New Zealand (HFNZ), has announced Susan Hay as the new Chief Executive Officer.

Susan has been a Senior Manager with the Foundation for 4 years and has proven her ability to manage a diverse team across New Zealand in her role as Operations Manager. Susan will be leading the Foundation as it continues to provide free health services and support to those living with viral hepatitis in New Zealand.

The Board of Trustees would like to take this opportunity to thank Susan for her commitment to the role and look forward to working with her on furthering the Foundation’s objectives.

About the Hepatitis Foundation of New Zealand

HFNZ provides free health services and support to more than 28,000 New Zealander’s living with viral hepatitis who are registered with the Foundation’s programmes.

Based in Whakatane, The Foundation provides outreach across New Zealand through community nurses.  It also runs the largest Hepatitis B surveillance programme in the world and provides education and workforce training in the management of viral hepatitis.
