Waikato pharmacies do us proud at National Pharmacy awards 2016

Waikato DHB would like to congratulate its pharmacies and pharmacists on their outstanding success at the recent National Pharmacy Awards for 2016, held on 6 August 2016 at Auckland’s Pullman Hotel.

“For Waikato it means we have some of the best community pharmacies in the country with some leading the way in developing pharmacy services for Maori” says Anton Turner, Pharmacy Portfolio Manager, Waikato DHB.

The following is the list of successful Waikato Pharmacies:

RB Supreme Award

This is awarded to one of the category award winners who truly stands out as a leading example in the pharmaceutical industry.

The Pharmacy Guild Community Pharmacy of the Year 

This award recognises excellence in community pharmacy, rewarding a community pharmacy that is well managed, innovative and engaged in the local community and the wider primary healthcare sector.
