Ministry of Health has released the 2015 Health and Independence Report.

It provides an overview of the state of New Zealander’s health, including how well the health and disability system is performing, the burden of disease,the country’s health status, and the wide range of factors influencing health and wellbeing.

It also explores topics such as the major causes of ill health in New Zealand, lifestyles and what impact our choices is having on our health, the opportunities to prevent or minimise future ill health and the challenges that the health and disability system face.
